"A marvellous conservation of endangered folk music"

This collection of 800 tapes, 400 hours, is predominantly from North and East Africa, recorded between 1969 and 1975. This major research also includes 50 tribes from Kenya. All recordings are made on stereo analogue tapes, matched with coloured slides. The collections also include recordings from the Middle East (late 60s) and from South East Asia (1994) on digital format.
